Microsoft Pricing Updates: What’s Changing (and What’s Not)

Microsoft has announced upcoming pricing adjustments beginning July 1st to select Microsoft 365 plans. We want you to hear it from us first, clearly and without the fluff.

Here’s what’s changing:

  • Business Basic
    • Increases from $7.20 to $8.40 per user/month
  • Business Standard
    • Increases from $15.00 to $16.80 per user/month Now includes a 100GB mailbox (previously 50GB)
  • Business Premium
    • No price increase
    • Now includes a 100GB mailbox
  • Nonprofit Licensing
    • No pricing changes

What This Means for You

If you’re on Business Basic or Business Standard, you’ll see a small increase reflected in your July Microsoft subscription billing.

If you’re on Business Standard or Business Premium, you’ll also benefit from expanded mailbox storage — which is helpful for users who regularly push storage limits or rely heavily on email for client communication.

And if you’re on Business Premium or nonprofit licensing, there’s no pricing impact at this time.

Our Commitment

We don’t love price increases any more than you do. But we do believe in transparency and in helping you make smart decisions about your technology.

If you’d like to review your licensing, make sure you’re in the right plan, or explore ways to optimize your costs, we’re happy to walk through it with you. Sometimes a small shift in licensing can offset increases elsewhere.

As always, if you have questions, just reach out. No jargon, no pressure. Just straight answers. We are here to help.
